For those who have been following the antics of the 2025 Mayoral race in Gloucester Township, another little tidbit of proof emerged that we thought we should share about the creatures in the shadows. Now mind you, it is absolutely possible this is all just a huge coincidence. As always, we will let you decide what the facts tell you.
If you need to be brought up to speed or would like a refresher on what we are referring to, I would suggest reading the story [BY CLICKING HERE] There were allegations about phantom candidates which are “fake” candidates meant to draw votes away from legitimate challengers to give an advantage to an incumbent candidate. One of these incidents was written about by Politico’s Matt Friedman. The other was in the form of a petition circulation which was ultimately not upheld by the Camden County Clerk’s office after challenges were submitted to the legitimacy of the signers.
This part is not new. We knew that a petition for Joe Brocco was circulated by Gloucester Township Democrat Committee member Carmen Scarduzio. We pointed out at that time he was on the ballot in the Primary as a member of the Democrat Committee. We pointed out that several people who signed Dave Mayer’s petittion also signed the Joe Brocco petitions.
Changing the Treasurer
What we missed back then was the fact that the day prior to his petition being notarized (June 9th, 2025) a change was made in the NJ ELEC filing for the Democrat Committee filing removing him as Treasurer and replacing him with Donna Jones. One might believe this was done to have the ability to legally state that Carmen was not the treasurer when this was notarized or turned in. Even if this was used as a defense, do you believe it is possible for him to get all the signatures from 10:35am on the 8th until the notarization of the petitions?
Searching the Public Information
The first image was the last D-3 filing before the amendment was made on Jun 8th, pictured after. To verify this yourself and see that all the information in the below pictures including addresses are publicly available [CLICK HERE] then navigate to “Filings”, select “By Party or PAC”, then search the name “GLOUCESTER TW”.
Only a few days later, Donna was replaced by the notorious Cynthia Carlamere, Chair of the Gloucester Township Housing Authority and wife of the Township Solicitor David Carlamere. To refresh your memory, she is also the chair of the Political Action Committee who is bringing you all the lovely smear campaign mailers to your mailbox.
Cynthia Carlamere and Donna Jones are the Chair and Treasurer for the PAC responsible for the smears against candidate Keith Gibbons. I do not know how much clearer these dots can be connected. But again, it is entirely possible this is all just a coincidence.
